Generation Positive (G+) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to public welfare, established in 2014. Our mission is to empower and support the youth, nurturing a new identity for Afghanistan that embodies volunteerism, peace, quality education, and positive social development. Since our inception, we have expanded our reach to support Afghan refugees, establishing branches in Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, and Europe since 2018.
Generation Positive envisions a future where the youth of Afghanistan and beyond are equipped to lead transparent, just, and thriving societies. We aim to build, enhance, and develop the capacities of the new generation towards achieving a humanitarian, transparent, and prosperous future in Afghanistan and for Afghan communities worldwide.
Generation Positive (G+), in addition to youth empowerment, participation and leadership, volunteerism, Cultural development, and capacity building, strives to support the implementation of UN SDGs throughout Afghanistan, particularly focusing on the goals.

The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan has had a devastating impact on journalism in the country. Many journalists, particularly women, now face threats, intimidation, and a complete shutdown of independent media outlets.

The event brought together inspiring women like Elham Qat’e, Masoudeh Kohsani, Shakila Nazari, and Khaleda Adib for a discussion on women’s empowerment, gender equality, and their roles in society. Lima Anwari facilitated the program, which included speeches and interactive dialogue with students in attendance.

Generation Positive G+ successfully organized the first-ever National Civic Engagement and Political Leadership Conference for women, which has served as a launchpad for aspiring female leaders. The conference, attended by over 400 Afghan youth, featured engaging discussions, workshops, and inspiring keynote addresses.
This conference has ignited a spark among the attendees, encouraging them to participate actively in civic responsibility and political ambition. As a result, we can expect to see a surge in civic engagement and a rise in female political participation in the future.
